About Me
I’ve always had a fierce curiosity for all things related to art from a young age, and this obsession lead me to pursue a bachelor’s degree in illustration at Ringling College of Art and Design. Here I developed a strong, comprehensive design foundation and cemented my adoration for all things related to design.
After graduation my path led me to mainly work with children’s book illustration, some graphic novels and apparel design. I’ve also collaborated on many freelance projects and have helped authors create character art for book proposals, illustrated environments and background art for animation, and am currently in the middle of creating my first graphic novel that’s based off my parents meeting and in Beijing in 1989.
However, after stumbling upon the creative world of user experience design I enrolled in General Assembly’s User Experience Immersive Boot Camp. It was a sharp pivot from my illustration background, but learning how to tackle problem solving for user experience made me use my creative muscles in ways I’ve never even thought of before.
So now that I’m embarking on a new path, I’m beyond eager to see, learn and experience as much as I can.
