DC national cherry blossom festival

I got to create original designs for the DC National Cherry Blossom Festival as official merchandise for the event. The client wanted us to create designs for adults, youth and infants that had the blossoms, include masculine and femmine styles, or DC monuments. All of these designs were created with photoshop, illustrator and procreate and printed using 8 color processing.

This design was created to mimic a traditional painting style with textured brush strokes. Sales showed that lighter colors sold better, and that white scarfs were the most popular the year before.

 

These were proposed totes designs for the 2023 Cherry Blossom Festival. I presented the client with a tote with the Jefferson Monument, and Mt Fuji.
